CAMP FREDDY To Perform On 'The Sharon Osbourne Show'
February 5, 2004CAMP FREDDY, the Los Angeles-based "jam" band consisting of JANE'S ADDICTION guitarist Dave Navarro, former THE CULT touring bassist Billy Morrison (on guitar),ex-GUNS N' ROSES/THE CULT drummer Matt Sorum, and vocalist Donovan Leitch (the son of 1960s U.K. folk-rock icon Donovan),will be making an appearance on "The Sharon Osbourne Show" on Monday, February 9. The band — who will be joined for the occasion by JANE'S ADDICTION bassist Chris Chaney — will play one song before joining Sharon on the couches for a chat.
As previously reported, CAMP FREDDY entered a Los Angeles studio last month to begin recording their all-star "covers" album for Sanctuary Records. Tracking began on a number of songs, and although the track listing and guest appearances will be kept under wraps, the album is being made in the same spirit as the group's legendary shows — amazing rock songs performed by a diverse and exciting list of artists.
